Let's Check Your Breast Sagging Level!
The problem of Breast Ptosis (sagging breasts, drooping breasts, loss of firmness), regardless of breast size, is common. Breast ptosis is a natural occurrence due to age, hormonal changes, pregnancy, breastfeeding, or even genetics. Knowing your own level of ptosis can help you choose the right bra or decide on a proper care plan and consultation with a doctor for correction.
Stand up straight, relax, and observe the position of the nipple and the center of the breast mound.
- Level 1 (Normal Ptosis) : The nipple is located in the center of the breast mound.
- Level 2 (Mild Ptosis) : The breast droops slightly, and the nipple points slightly downward (about 1 cm).
- Level 3 (Moderate Ptosis) : The breast visibly sags, and the nipple points clearly downward (abou
t 1-3 cm). - Level 4 (Severe Ptosis) : The breast is significantly hanging and drooping (about 3 cm or more).
- Age : Collagen and skin elasticity decrease with age.
- Pregnancy/Breastfeeding : Rapid expansion and contraction of the breast tissue.
- Weight Fluctuations : Rapid weight gain or loss causes the skin to lose elasticity.
- Gravity : Not wearing appropriate supportive brassieres, especially during exercise.
